InternationalHub is a student-run collective producing multimedia content devoted to advancing the thought and dialogue surrounding global business and cross-cultural relationships. The InternationalHub team consists of Master of Accountancy students from the Marriott School of Business collaborating with leading academics and professionals.
Bronson Taylor has grown up in three different states on the east coast of the United States, with the most recent being in Greenville, North Carolina. As a Mandarin Chinese major and International Business minor, Bronson has lived in both China and Taiwan for extended periods of time. These international experiences helped him gain a love for diverse global business customs. Bronson will spend the 2020-2021school year in China to participate in the nationally recognized BYU Chinese Flagship Program to gain professional experience in International Marketing.
Huston’s friends know she is an Arizona girl through and through. Her family enjoys off-roading, tubing down the Salt River, hiking, skiing, horse-back riding and pretty much any other outdoor activity. Huston loves to run, read, visit museums, and spend time with her friends. She served a mission in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and has been to 16 other countries outside of the U.S. She is a first-year MAcc student in the tax stem.
Kristen Ray was raised in Arizona. She loves studying pop culture and international communications. Kristen did a study abroad to India and England, and she recently presented some of her research at an academic conference in Italy. Some of her hobbies include watching movies, playing sports, and traveling.
Madison Birtcher was raised in South Jordan, Utah. She enjoys snowboarding on a good powder day, snuggling up with a book on a rainy day, and spending time with family on any day. After graduation, she plans to begin her career in Chicago, Illinois.
Meg Rowley was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. When she isn't studying accounting or researching culture you'll find her out traveling the world and experiencing cultures first-hand. She has a passion for humanitarian work and loves her family, her friends, and music.
Shannon Christiansen was raised in Neenah, WI. In addition to accounting, she loves snowboarding, running, traveling, and spending time with family. After finishing school, she plans to begin her career in Provo, UT.
Taylor Issertell was born and raised in Kaysville, UT. One of her biggest dreams is to live internationally and speak the native language. She enjoys traveling, videography, snowboarding, and anything that has to do with her family.
Greg Burton is the Associate Director and John and Nancy Hardy Professor in the School of Accountancy at Brigham Young University. Greg has consulted with businesses or given presentations in more than 70 countries. He is the past president of the International Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association. In 2008-2009, he was appointed the Academic Fellow in the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to receiving his Ph.D., he was a senior manager with KPMG and spent two years on an international rotation living and working in Southeast Asia.
