InternationalHub is a student-run collective producing multimedia content devoted to advancing the thought and dialogue surrounding global business and cross-cultural relationships. The InternationalHub team consists of Master of Accountancy students from the Marriott School of Business collaborating with leading academics and professionals.
Huston’s friends know she is an Arizona girl through and through. Her family enjoys off-roading, tubing down the Salt River, hiking, skiing, horse-back riding and pretty much any other outdoor activity. Huston loves to run, read, visit museums, and spend time with her friends. She served a mission in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and has been to 16 other countries outside of the U.S. She is a first-year MAcc student in the tax stem.
Madison Birtcher was raised in South Jordan, Utah. She enjoys snowboarding on a good powder day, snuggling up with a book on a rainy day, and spending time with family on any day. After graduation, she plans to begin her career in Chicago, Illinois.
Shannon Christiansen was raised in Neenah, WI. In addition to accounting, she loves snowboarding, running, traveling, and spending time with family. After finishing school, she plans to begin her career in Provo, UT.
Taylor Issertell was born and raised in Kaysville, UT. One of her biggest dreams is to live internationally and speak the native language. She enjoys traveling, videography, snowboarding, and anything that has to do with her family.
Greg Burton is the Associate Director and John and Nancy Hardy Professor in the School of Accountancy at Brigham Young University. Greg has consulted with businesses or given presentations in more than 70 countries. He is the past president of the International Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association. In 2008-2009, he was appointed the Academic Fellow in the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to receiving his Ph.D., he was a senior manager with KPMG and spent two years on an international rotation living and working in Southeast Asia.
